SBM confirmed as keynote speaker at the UK's first Renewables Academy course in offshore wind
The UK Renewable Academy is delighted to announce that Jurriaan Kien, Legal Director New Energies & Services at SBM Offshore shall be the keynote speaker covering contractor risk and contracting in floating offshore wind for its four day offshore wind programme in June 2022.
”It is a great opportunity to share thoughts on reasonable and adequate contractual risk allocation on floating wind projects as this is all rather new for the industry and the legal profession; exchanges with different stakeholders will enhance mutual understanding whilst balanced contracting should positively impact the competitiveness of floating wind projects for the years to come”, said Jurriaan Kien, Legal Director New Energies & Services of SBM Offshore.”
